My Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Friends of the Green Howards Museum Annual General Meeting will be held on Sat 23 Jul 16, in the Town Hall, Richmond. Please see the attached letter for more details.
As indicated, please send your returns with cheque to John Stenhouse by Mon 5 Jul 16, as I will be away from the beginning of July.
The guest speaker for The Colonel Geoffrey Powell Memorial Lecture is Brigadier Andrew Roe (Late YORKS - who served as a Green Howards officer until the establishment of the Yorkshire Regiment). The title of the lecture is ‘The On-going Security Challenges of Northern Ireland and the Wider Role of the Military in Province.’
The museum will be open prior to the meeting. If there is sufficient interest from the Cleveland area, minibus/coach transport will be made available. Anyone wishing to take advantage, please reply asap so numbers can be collated.
Anyone receiving this email who is not a member of the Friends, is most welcome to attend. We will sign you up at the door for the £16.00 annual subscriptions.
