served with Terry Cockcroft in Berlin, he was a Cpl in signal platoon at the time. can't remember when he left but did meet up with him on leave one time at a pub in Linthorpe village. he was the working at British steel in the control room I believe. lost touch after that when the Bn move to Aldergrove
