Today in company with many other Green Howards I had the privilege of being present at Colonel Clive’s funeral service. It was a service littered with laughter and sadness in equal measures. His family and friends can rightly be proud of his achievements in his professional career which touched so many of us who were fortunate enough to serve under his command. It’s great to see that the guest book is enjoying a bit of a revival. Facebook is becoming a bit of a quagmire of disinformation and rubbish. Thanks to Eric for taking the helm and I for one hope it goes from strength to strength.. PipXIX

Have just spent most of the morning reading my recently arrived copy of the magazine. Without doubt one of the best editions I have ever read. The editor is to be congratulated on the diverse spread of articles, making it a fascinating read. Well done all concerned. PipXIX

Just arrived in Teeside for a few days and looking forward to the weekend in Richmond in company with my Green Howard mates.
