I have more than wonderful news. The TeessideLive got 3 responses of Alfred's relatives. Hope to get in contact soon. They are searching for a photograph of him. I will find out if there are more soldiers of the Green Howards on Venray cemetery and will get back to this forum. I'm so happy we finally found his relatives. Take care. Will

It would be great if we could find a picture of Alfred because the organisation who manage all the adoptions want to put these photo's of the Heroes on metal plates and put these at the graves in special occasions. We will take care of our British liberators ! Lest we forget !!!!!! Will
